The York is hiring 3 bartenders to join our team in Syracuse. We’re looking for dependable, professional, guest-focused bartenders who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and help create a great experience for our guests.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident behind the bar, works well under pressure, stays organized during busy shifts, and brings a strong attitude and work ethic to the team. Night and weekend availability is required.

Preferred qualifications

• Bartending experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to move quickly and stay composed during high-volume shifts
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Team-oriented attitude
• Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol in New York State

What you’ll be doing

• Serving beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Creating a welcoming, efficient guest experience at the bar
• Maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized workspace
• Handling busy service periods with urgency and professionalism
• Working closely with the rest of the team to keep service running smoothly

Compensation

Pay starts at $10.70/hour plus tips, with typical total earnings averaging $30–$40/hour.
