Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of specialty drinks and menu items.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies efficiently, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu innovation by applying knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and craft beer trends.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age regulations; monitor guest consumption for safety.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours or special events like catering functions or nightclub nights.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in cocktail making, wine knowledge, spirits expertise, and beverage recipe development.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced environments like fine dining establishments or nightclubs.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts through excellent time management skills.
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality setting.
