Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
• Manage cash transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment; address any concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
• Follow all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines to ensure compliance and guest safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending or food service roles within the food industry; restaurant experience is highly valued.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing and cashiering.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively without compromising quality or safety.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and inventory management.
• Previous experience in serving or bartending roles that demonstrate hospitality excellence is preferred.

Pay: $17.95-$29.81 per hour
