Bartender

We are seeking friendly, fast-paced Bartenders to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering excellent customer service for one of our clients: District Fore, a sports bar and restaurant in Milwaukee's Third Ward. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-energy environment, knows their drinks, and creates a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
• Provide attentive, friendly, and efficient service to guests
• Verify customer age and follow all alcohol service laws and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately; open and maintain tabs
• Monitor guest behavior and responsibly manage alcohol consumption
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience is required
• Milwaukee bartender license preferred
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Shift flexibility; weekends and some holidays are required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive
• Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol
