Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and beverage and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction with their drinks.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, including processing payments and managing tabs.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders alongside drinks.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations while serving alcohol responsibly.

Skills

• Proficient in bartending techniques with knowledge of brewing methods and cocktail recipes.
• Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately.
• Experience in cash handling and retail math to manage financial transactions effectively.
• Excellent sales skills to promote drink specials and upsell menu items.
• Previous experience in fine dining or high-volume establishments is preferred
