Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an enjoyable experience and promote sales of beverages and food items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling responsibilities efficiently
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to enhance guest satisfaction while adhering to food safety standards
• Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and monitor alcohol consumption in compliance with legal regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or nightclubs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments; previous bar management experience is a plus
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, mixology techniques, and beverage recipe development
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a hospitality setting
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
• Experience with food service operations including serving, catering events, banquet service, or nightclub environments is highly desirable
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift supplies as needed; must be detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and safety

Pay: $2.13 - $8.75 per hour
