ABOUT DAUGHTER’S

Daughter’s Neighborhood Italian is a new Italian American restaurant opening this fall in the historic Upperline building in Uptown New Orleans. From Mia and Justin Devillier, the owners of La Petite Grocery, Daughter’s is our take on the red-sauce classics: the staples you love, made with care, in a room where everyone is welcomed like family.

THE ROLE

The bar is both a waiting room and a destination at Daughter’s. Bartenders run an Italian-inspired program of cocktails, aperitivi, and a curated wine list, serving bar guests and supporting the dining room.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

– Prepare classic and Italian-inspired cocktails, aperitivi, wine, and beer with consistency and care

– Welcome and serve guests at the bar and bar dining room with the same warmth as the dining room

– Know the wine list and menu well enough to recommend pairings

– Ring orders accurately in Toast and manage tabs and checks

– Set up, stock, and break down the bar to standard, including garnish and ice prep

– Support inventory, ordering, and par levels as directed

– Serve alcohol responsibly and follow all Louisiana regulations

WHAT YOU BRING

– 1+ years of bartending experience in a full-service or high-volume setting

– Knowledge of classic cocktails, Italian aperitivi, and wine, or real curiosity to learn

– Speed, precision, and a welcoming presence behind the bar

– Louisiana responsible vendor server permit, or willingness to obtain one

– Ability to stand and move for long shifts and lift up to [30] lbs

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
