We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Bartender to join our award-winning Food & Beverage team.

About the role

As a Bartender at Shangri-La Sydney, you will play a key role in delivering a vibrant, engaging and memorable bar experience for our guests. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about beverages, takes pride in delivering exceptional service and thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving cocktails, beverages and specialty drinks to the highest luxury hotel standards
• Providing warm, professional and personalised service while anticipating and responding to guest needs
• Demonstrating strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers and other beverage offerings
• Contributing creative ideas for cocktails, seasonal offerings and memorable guest experiences

What success looks like

• Cocktails and beverages are prepared consistently, accurately and to a high standard
• The bar remains clean, organised and well presented throughout service
• Beverage knowledge is confidently demonstrated when assisting guests with recommendations
• The bar experience reflects the quality and service standards expected of a luxury hotel

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous bartending experience within a fast-paced, high-volume or premium hospitality environment
• Strong cocktail and beverage knowledge with a genuine passion for mixology
• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
