Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and energetic manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
• Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, checking for freshness, and communicating needs to management.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to enhance the bar menu.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give accurate change while maintaining a high level of accuracy with retail math skills.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements.
• Assist in training new team members on bar procedures, POS systems, and customer service expectations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry, preferably with fine dining or nightclub backgrounds.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, wine varieties, brewing processes, and spirits.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Experience in beverage recipe development and creating innovative drink menus is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or banquet settings.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, proper food handling practices, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Previous experience working with alcohol regulations, serving responsibly, and managing bar operations is preferred.

Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
