Bartender

About Us
We're a busy, locally loved neighborhood bar and restaurant in Kailua with a loyal regular crowd, full bar, and a full food menu. We're looking for a bartender who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their bar, and makes every guest feel like a regular.

What You'll Do

• Craft and serve beer, wine, and cocktails with speed and consistency
• Take and run food orders for guests and support the floor during rushes
• Ring in orders, split checks, process payments, and close out tabs accurately on the POS
• Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized throughout every shift
• Handle opening and closing duties, including cash handling and end-of-shift reports
• Check IDs and serve responsibly in line with Hawaii liquor laws
• Upsell specials and menu items without being pushy
• Communicate with kitchen and floor staff to keep tickets moving
• Build rapport with regulars and create a welcoming atmosphere for new guests

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine
• POS experience
• Comfortable running food and working alongside a kitchen team
• Fast, accurate, and calm under pressure
• A true hustler: you see what needs to be done and do it without being asked
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Available nights, weekends, and holidays
• Hawaii liquor server certification (or willing to obtain before start)
