Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring timely service and adherence to event specifications.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry, payment processing, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in high-volume establishments is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is essential.
• Experience using POS systems, particularly Toast or similar platforms, is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A background in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.

Pay: $16.90 - $19.36 per hour
