We are seeking a personable and skilled Bartender to join our team*.* As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring that each experience is memorable. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle a busy environment with ease. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced setting, enjoy interacting with guests, and be enthusiastic about crafting signature cocktails.

Objectives of this role

• Act as the face of the hotel engaging with guests while providing exceptional service
• Prepare and serve drinks, ensuring that all guest orders are fulfilled in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as necessary
• Promote a positive and polite work environment
• Create a five-star customer experience for every guest

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
• Interact with guests, taking orders and answering any questions about the drink menu
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all food and beverage regulations
• Upsell drink specials and hotel packages when appropriate
• Communicate effectively with hotel staff to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Track and manage bar inventory and supplies
• Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally

Skills and qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service abilities
• Knowledge of various types of drinks and beverages
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations
• Ability to work well within a team

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience in bartending or hospitality
• Knowledge of drink mixing techniques and cocktail recipes
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
