Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing
• Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting
• Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste through effective stock rotation
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours such as nights, weekends, and special events like banquets or catering functions

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, brewing processes, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation techniques
• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments or nightlife venues such as nightclubs or banquet settings
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a lively yet professional atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions swiftly and accurately
• Ability to develop innovative drink recipes and stay current on industry trends in mixology and beverage development
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food safety compliance in food handling environments

Pay: $23.41 - $28.19 per hour
