Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; process payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to increase sales and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; place orders as needed to ensure stock availability.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food service during events or busy periods, including banquet or catering settings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender with strong mixology skills; fine dining or hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Familiarity with beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, craft beer experience, and spirits expertise.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for retail math, food handling calculations, and cash transactions.
• Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling procedures is a plus.
• Previous experience in restaurant or banquet settings is advantageous; catering experience is beneficial.
