Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted drinks. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will contribute to a lively atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to all food safety and responsible serving standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience
• Manage POS system for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially during high-energy events
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at banquets or catering events
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records of sales and tips using retail math skills

Skills

• Proven experience in food and beverage service, preferably within fast paced environments
• Strong knowledge of POS systems for seamless order processing
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and retail math calculations
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that encourages repeat visits
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices
• Experience with catering events or large-scale banquets is a plus
• Knowledge of the food industry trends including brewing techniques or beverage innovations is advantageous

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
