Bartender

Job Overview

Bartender - Pranzo Lounge & Grill is seeking an experienced, energetic, and dependable Bartender to join our team. We are an upscale Mediterranean Restaurant and Lounge offering dinning, cocktails, private events, and late night entertainment.

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about cocktails and spirits, works well in a fasr-paced environment, and provide friendly, professional service. Our bartenders must be comfortable working busy evenings, weekends, DJ nights, and special events while maintain quality, consistency, and an organized bar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, shots, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Follow house recipes, proper measurements, and presentation standards
• Greet guests and provide attentive, professional service
• Recommend drinks based on guest preference
• Verify identification and follow all TABC alcohol-service regulations
• Accurately enter orders and process cash and credit-card payments through the POS system
• Set up, stock, clean, and close the bar
• Prepare garnishes and restock liquor, mixers, glassware, and other supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized bar throughout the shift
• Monitor inventory and report low-stock items to management
• Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service procedures
• Assist the team during busy shifts, private events, and DJ nights

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience required
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, liquor, wine, and beer
• Current TABC and Food Handler certifications, or ability to obtain them before starting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to work well with a team
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night shifts
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift bar supplies as needed
