Bartender

Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to provide personalized recommendations and enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment efficiently.
• Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, placing orders as needed, and minimizing waste through effective stock rotation.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment; fine dining or hotel/bar management experience is highly desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktail mixing techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems , along with cash handling procedures.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
• Experience working with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
