Bartender

Prepare, mix, and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Engage warmly with guests, offering drink recommendations and sharing knowledge of our signature menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, and equipment. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements related to beverage service. Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed, conducting regular checks to optimize workflow. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming, efficient atmosphere and actively resolve guest concerns.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience as a bartender in a high-end hotel, restaurant, or hospitality venue. Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-centric mindset. Ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain composure during peak hours. Excellent attention to detail, personal grooming, and a polished appearance. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays onsite at The Chedi Hegra. Legal eligibility to work in the country and age compliance for alcohol service.

Beverage or mixology certifications (e.g., WSET, Mixologist training). Previous experience in the luxury resort or high-end hospitality segment. Basic understanding of local flavors and trends to inspire unique creations. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
