Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards.
• Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance menu offerings and cater to guest preferences.
• Handle cash register operations, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy in retail math.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during busy periods or banquets.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.
• Assist in bar management duties when needed, including stock replenishment and inventory tracking.
• Provide excellent customer service by serving drinks promptly, managing multiple orders efficiently, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests.

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing.
• Proven cocktail making skills with knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage recipe development.
• Strong understanding of wine, spirits, craft beers, and beverage pairings within fine dining or hospitality settings.
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service periods effectively.
• Previous food service experience including bartending, restaurant work, or banquet service is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering top-tier customer service.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Experience in hospitality industry roles such as bar management or catering enhances your suitability for this position.
