Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
• Manage multiple drink orders efficiently using strong time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and contribute to a lively, positive atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending or serving within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining cleanliness in a bar environment.
• Strong bartending skills including mixing drinks, pouring techniques, and understanding of various cocktail recipes.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Effective time management to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
