Bartender

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated bartender to join our vibrant team.

In this role, you will be the face of our Taproom as part of The Indian Brewery, providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will play a crucial part in delivering a memorable experience while adhering to food safety standards and hospitality best practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
• Be able to become knowledgeable of our products and processes to confidently communicate this with guests.
• Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve beverages and food in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Assist with service preparation as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar & front of house area, including the bar, tables, counters, and service stations to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Support bartending or catering activities as required, contributing to a cohesive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• A passion for providing excellent customer service and helping others enjoy their dining experience.
