Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, knowledge of drink recipes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, take beverage and food orders, and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Restock bar inventory and notify management of shortages.
• Follow proper cash handling, credit card, and point-of-sale (POS) procedures.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible serving guidelines.
• Resolve guest complaints quickly and professionally.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service laws and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced bar and restaurant setting.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $5.00 - $6.00 per hour
