Swing City Indoor Golf Lounge, home of the Comox Valley’s premiere indoor golf and lounge experience. We provide an upscale, social atmosphere where those looking for a new dining experience, or golf enthusiasts and casual players, come to sharpen their game or just have a great time with friends.

The Role:

We are looking for a high-energy Bartender who thrives in a social, upscale sports-oriented environment. You’ll be the heartbeat of the lounge, crafting great drinks and ensuring every guest—from the casual dinner, scratch golfer to the first-timer—feels like a VIP.

Key Responsibilities:

·Service: Prepare classic, mock-tails, and house cocktails with consistency and precision for guests in the lounge and in the hitting bays

· The Experience: Proactively check on guests in the simulator bays to refresh drinks and assist with basic equipment questions as needed

· Vibe Management: Maintain an upbeat, welcoming atmosphere; keep the music, TVs, and lighting tuned to the room's energy

· Operational Excellence: Handle POS transactions, maintain a spotless bar area. Collaborate with ownership to further our exciting and creative beverage program through consistency, teamwork, and standards. Maintain bar prep lists, supplies, and manage inventory control and ordering

· Safety First: Strictly adhere to BC liquor laws, verifying ID and ensuring all guests enjoy themselves responsibly

Requirements:

· Certification: Valid Serving It Right certification is required.

· Personality: Dynamic, creative, people-loving Bartender with heart, skill, and passion for your craft, (and a bonus if you enjoy golf!)

· Reliability: Comfort working independently or as part of a small, tight-knit team.

· Flexibility: Availability for evenings and weekends is a must, as that’s when the "course" is busiest

Requirements:

· Experience: Minimum 2 years bartending experience in a lounge or bar environment

· Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

· Attitude: A friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment

Pay: $18.25-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
