Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft and serve a wide variety of beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and customer engagement will be key to delivering memorable experiences. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor beverage levels to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing offerings to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and balance registers at the end of each shift with precision.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, brewing processes, and spirits.
• Proven experience in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings with strong bartending skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service periods.
• Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while adhering to food safety standards.
• Experience in food handling, food safety practices, cash handling, retail math, and basic math skills for accurate transactions.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
