Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and assisting with beverage recipe development to enhance menu offerings.
• Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours, including catering events and nightclub or banquet settings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending or food service within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Previous experience in hospitality industry roles such as bar management or catering is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math proficiency for inventory management.
