Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Barista/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, cash handling, and customer engagement within a vibrant food service setting.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks following standardized recipes.
• Operate POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
• Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items, maintaining cleanliness of workstations, and following food safety protocols.
• Manage cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Ensure timely service during busy periods by managing multiple orders efficiently through effective time management skills.
• Follow food safety guidelines for handling, storing, and serving food products to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bartender/Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Bartending experience/course.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.

Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour
