Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to provide excellent service and maintain high standards of food safety will contribute significantly to our establishment's reputation.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders with a friendly attitude.
• Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible service of alcohol at all times.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
• Assist in managing inventory by restocking supplies and reporting low stock levels as needed.
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices during food preparation and service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy, and hygienic work environment, including cleaning designated areas and handling waste appropriately.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
• Basic maths skills are required for handling cash transactions effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
• A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences are essential for success in this role.
