Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will craft exceptional beverages, deliver outstanding customer service, and create memorable experiences for our guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and hospitality industry standards will be key to elevating our bar offerings. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends in mixology and craft beer.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or hospitality settings with a strong knowledge of spirits, wine, craft beer, and cocktail preparation.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
• Demonstrated ability in beverage recipe development and mixology techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders seamlessly during busy hours.
• Previous food service experience including serving, food handling, and cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices within the food industry.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality environment.
