Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to promote a positive atmosphere and encourage repeat business
• Manage POS systems such for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and implement appropriate service procedures
• Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth service flow
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food service during catering or banquet events
• Handle cash transactions accurately while managing retail math skills for tipping and change distribution
• Uphold all food handling standards, including proper serving techniques and food safety protocols
• Assist in setting up bar areas for special events such as nightclubs or private functions

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, restaurant, or banquet settings preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tipping procedures
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event shifts
• Experience with brewing or catering services is a plus
