Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Bartender here at The Lord Raglan! The ideal candidate would have had previous bartending experience, have a passionate can do attitude and have knowledge with beers, wines and spirits. We have 15 draught lines, 6 cask and over 40 different wines so if you are passionate with everything drinks then this is the job for you!

The successful candidate will have a share of Troncs, now getting into our busiest time of year expect this to bump your pay up substantially!

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems and handle payments efficiently
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
• Restock bar supplies regularly to keep the station fully equipped for service
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality, food safety, and bartending techniques
• Excellent serving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a lively environment
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing methods, and responsible alcohol service practices
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Proven restaurant or bar experience demonstrating reliability and professionalism
• Effective time management to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Clear communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
