Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and spirits.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks that enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards.
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep our menu fresh and exciting.
• Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders to ensure availability of popular drinks and ingredients.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering to deliver seamless service in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or fine dining settings.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, and brewing processes.
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Experience in food service environments such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls.
• Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while maintaining consistency and quality standards.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management.
• Previous bartending or bar management experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with catering operations or large event settings enhances your versatility in this role.

Pay: $17.00 - $29.07 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
