Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled part-time Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving food, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Experience with Toast POS systems is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during events such as banquets or special occasions.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
• Stay informed about menu items, drink specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Bartender is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems is a plus; proficiency in cash handling is essential.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash management and drink preparation measurements.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of various alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and food pairings is beneficial.
