Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests by providing high-quality service and expertly crafted beverages in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including processing payments and issuing change.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to management.

Skills

• Strong background in food service or the food industry, with experience in bartending preferred.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and fine dining standards is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts as they apply to inventory management.
• Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
