About Monkey King Brewing

Monkey King Brewing is looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Beertender to join our team! Located inside Cravings Food Hall, we offer guests a great place to enjoy craft beer while having access to a variety of food options from the surrounding vendors.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys interacting with people, is passionate about providing great customer service, and can help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, provide friendly service, and create a welcoming taproom experience.
• Serve craft beer and educate guests about our beer selections, styles, and flavors.
• Make recommendations based on guests’ preferences.
• Pour and serve beer responsibly in accordance with California alcohol service laws.
• Verify guests’ identification and follow all applicable alcohol service regulations.
• Operate the POS system and accurately process guest transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.
• Restock kegs, cups, and other bar supplies as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Work collaboratively with the team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, beertending, or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of craft beer is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have availability on weeknights and weekends.
• Must meet applicable California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training and certification requirements.
