Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and create a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash handling responsibilities efficiently.
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to the creation of signature cocktails that align with current trends and customer preferences.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of wine, spirits, brewing techniques, and cocktail mixology to provide expert recommendations.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours, special events, or banquets while maintaining high standards of hospitality industry experience.
• Uphold all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in mixology, cocktail creation, and beverage presentation.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of beverage recipes, wine varieties, spirits, craft beer trends, and food handling procedures.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
• Previous experience in fine dining establishments or nightclubs is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift supplies as needed in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math understanding for sales transactions.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
