Duties

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic drinks using established recipes or custom creations.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing payments efficiently while maintaining accountability.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and managing guest intoxication levels responsibly.
• Assist in bar management duties including scheduling shifts and training new staff members on proper bartending techniques and POS procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclubs, catering events, or similar hospitality environments.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, cocktail recipes, craft beer styles, and beverage presentation techniques.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Experience with beverage recipe development and mixology techniques preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality industry demands.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations related to sales transactions.
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly desirable; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus.

Pay: $600.00 - $1,200.00 per week
