Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks to enhance their experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy, including processing payments swiftly and correctly.
• Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible serving, ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
• Demonstrate excellent time management by balancing multiple orders during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service.
• Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by providing friendly, attentive customer service in various settings such as nightclubs or fine dining venues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially within the food industry or retail math proficiency.
• Prior fine dining experience or banquet experience is highly desirable; nightclub or catering background is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible serving policies.
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in fast-paced hospitality settings such as brewing venues or large-scale events.
