Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit payments efficiently.
• Develop and suggest beverage recipes to keep our menu fresh, exciting, and aligned with current trends in mixology.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders when necessary, and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
• Extensive cocktail experience along with skills in beverage recipe development and mixology techniques.
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, brewing processes, and beverage presentation standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently through effective time management.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $24.48 - $29.48 per hour
