Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking drink orders and offering recommendations based on their preferences and our menu offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling responsibilities efficiently.
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste through effective stock rotation.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours, including catering events or nightclub nights.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage presentation.
• Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash flow.
• Proven experience in food service environments such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings; hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and food handling procedures.
• Experience in bar management or supervising staff is a plus; familiarity with catering or retail math enhances operational efficiency.
