Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed to ensure seamless service
• Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure smooth service flow in high-volume settings

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
• Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and food safety protocols
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest satisfaction
• Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable
• Ability to develop creative cocktails and recommend beverage pairings based on guest preferences
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations for inventory control
