Join the Team at Lu Mare Restaurant

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our team at Lu Mare.

With summer approaching, we're gearing up for a busy season and looking for someone who loves creating great drinks, thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a positive attitude to the team.

About the Role

This is a casual position with the opportunity for ongoing hours for the right candidate. We're looking for a confident bartender who can keep up in a busy, high-volume environment while maintaining quality, efficiency and excellent service.

You'll be working behind the bar at our waterfront restaurant overlooking Wollongong Harbour, making cocktails and serving a great selection of wines, beers and spirits throughout the busy summer season. Experience with floor service is preferred, as you'll be joining a team that works closely across both the bar and restaurant.

What We're Looking For

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar environment
• Confident cocktail-making skills and knowledge of classic cocktails
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, particularly during busy summer service
• Italian drinks knowledge, including Italian wines, spirits and aperitivi, preferred but not essential
• Floor service experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and major days (Mother's Day, NYE, Valentines Day etc.)
• Current NSW RSA (essential)

Pay: $33.85 – $40.06 per hour
