Duties

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
• Maintain knowledge of current beverage trends, recipes, and presentation techniques including beverage recipe development and mixology skills
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures during service
• Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed
• Uphold cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with health regulations and safety standards
• Handle cash register operations accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours like nightclub events or catering functions
• Promote a welcoming environment by providing excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries promptly, and managing bar management responsibilities effectively

Experience

• Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, fine dining, or hospitality setting with a strong focus on customer service
• Demonstrated knowledge of Toast POS systems
• Extensive cocktail experience including spirits expertise, beverage recipe development, and mixology techniques
• Familiarity with wine knowledge, craft beer experience, brewing processes, and beverage presentation styles
• Prior food service experience with understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in fine dining environments or high-volume venues is preferred
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality standards
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately using retail math skills and basic math proficiency
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including serving etiquette, alcohol regulations, and responsible beverage service
