Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business
• Manage POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Develop new beverage recipes and craft specialty drinks to keep the menu fresh and exciting
• Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and balance registers at the end of each shift
• Assist with bar inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits
• Experience with POS systems for seamless transaction processing
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Food handling certification and understanding of food safety protocols in hospitality environments
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent math skills for accurate cash handling and order calculations
