Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends and customer preferences
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste while ensuring product quality
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate service during busy periods or special events such as banquets or catering functions

Experience

• Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and spirits including liquors and liqueurs
• Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism
• Experience serving in fine dining settings or high-volume venues preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through excellent time management skills
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
