THE VAULT is a Haitian-owned event venue and lounge located in Elmont, NY, just minutes from UBS Arena. We bring people together through private celebrations, live entertainment, nightlife, and food and beverage experiences.

From intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, no two events are exactly alike.

About the Role

As a Bartender at THE VAULT, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and maintaining an organized and efficient bar.

We're looking for individuals who can balance speed with quality, work confidently during busy events, and contribute to a positive experience for every guest.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional guest service.
• Work a variety of events, including private celebrations, lounge service, and nightlife.
• Accurately process orders and payments using Clover POS.
• Follow standardized recipes, proper measuring techniques, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Recommend cocktails, premium spirits, and bottle service offerings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
• Complete opening, closing, restocking, and inventory-related tasks.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, security, and management to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all venue policies and New York State alcohol service regulations.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of bartending experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume bars, lounges, nightclubs, or private events is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy service periods.
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable handling cash and POS transactions.
• Available for evening, weekend, holiday, and late-night shifts.
• Experience with Clover POS and responsible alcohol service training is a plus.
