Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about menu items, and create personalized experiences that keep patrons coming back.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and assisting with beverage recipe development to enhance menu offerings.
• Handle cash handling responsibilities including processing payments, giving change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours such as nights, weekends, or special events like banquets or catering functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and brewing processes.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without sacrificing quality.
• Food handling certification and adherence to food safety standards are required; additional certifications in hospitality or bar management are a plus.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations including tips, totals, and change distribution.
