Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and foster customer loyalty
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all beverages are stored safely according to food safety standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and card payments efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates based on current trends and guest preferences
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours and special events such as banquets or catering functions
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service

Experience

• Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, cocktail recipes, brewing processes, and mixology techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Experience with beverage recipe development and food handling procedures in a food service setting
• Ability to manage cash handling accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
• Previous experience in restaurant or banquet settings is preferred; catering or retail math skills are a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper alcohol serving practices is essential for success in this role
