Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as CLOVER POS, ensuring prompt delivery.
• Prepare cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks according to guide, training, and when necessary experience.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating and manage guest flow efficiently
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially with fine dining or casual dining settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS, Toast POS, or similar platforms is essential for order processing and sales tracking
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Experience in food handling, cocktails creation, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
• Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining high-quality service standards
• Knowledge of food industry operations including basic math for cash handling and order calculations
• Serving or host/hostess experience is advantageous for creating a welcoming atmosphere
