Bartender – Glass House Bar

Glass House Bar is looking for an experienced, outgoing, and dependable bartender to join our team!

We’re a lively sports/dive bar with a laid-back atmosphere, a strong regular customer base, and a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who can keep up during a rush, connect with customers, and help create the “Glass Home” atmosphere our guests come back for.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Provide friendly, attentive service while managing multiple guests and orders—both at the bar and at tables.
• Open, maintain, and close customer tabs using Toast POS.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
• Build relationships with regulars while making new guests feel welcome.
• Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible serving practices.
• Assist with opening, closing, restocking, and general bar operations.
• Work collaboratively with other bartenders, kitchen staff, and security.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required (minimum of 2 years); high-volume or sports/dive bar experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of standard cocktails, mixed drinks/shots, beer, and basic bar operations.
• Comfortable handling cash, managing tabs, and using POS systems (Toast POS).
• Ability to remain professional and composed when dealing with difficult situations.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Availability to work weekends, and holidays.

What We’re Looking For

Someone who knows how to work hard, have fun, and keep the bar running smoothly. You should be comfortable handling a packed bar, remembering your regulars, taking initiative without constant direction, and maintaining great service even when things get hectic.
