Bartender

We are looking for an experienced bartender to work Saturdays from approx 10:45am to 7pm.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience
• Maintain knowledge of current drink menus, specials, and beverage trends to make personalized recommendations
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and giving change
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness at the bar area
• Restock bar supplies efficiently while tracking inventory levels to prevent shortages
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending or food service within a hospitality environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer styles
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for inventory management
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in bar management or supervising bar staff is a plus but not required
